Memorial website in the memory of your loved one
His legacy
Loving Cayden

You Can Shed Tears That He Is Gone
Or Smile Because He Lived...

You Can Close Your Eyes And
Pray He'll Be Back
Or Open Your Eyes And See He Has Left...

Your Heart Can Be Empty Because
You Can't See Him
Or The Heart Can Be Full Of The Love You Shared...

You Can Turn Your Back On Tomorrow
And Live Yesterday
Or Be Happy For Tomorrow Because Of Yesterday...

You Can Remember Him and Only That He Is Gone
Or You Can Cherish His Memory
And Let It Live On...

You Can Cry and Close Your Mind,
Be Empty and Turn Your Back
Or You Can Do What He Would Want...

Smile, Open Your Eyes, and Love On.

Broken Chain

We little knew that morning,
God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly,
in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you;
you did not go alone,
for part of us went with you
the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
your love is still our guide,
and though we cannot see you,
you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same,
but as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.

Always on our minds and forever in our hearts!
We love you Cayden!

God's Lent Child

I'll lend you for a little while
A child of mine, God said
for you to love, while they live.
And mourn for when they're dead.
It may be six or seven years
or forty-two or three
but will you, till I call them back,
take care of them for me?
They'll bring their charms to gladden you
and, should their stay be brief...
You'll have their lovely memories
as a solace grief.
I cannot promise they will stay,
since all from Earth return,
but there are lessons taught below,
I want this child to learn.
I've looked the whole world over
in my search for teachers true,
and from the things that crowd life's lane,
I have chosen you!
Now will you give them all your love,
nor think the labor vain?
Nor hate me when I come to take
this Lent Child back again?
I fancied that I heard them say
Dear Lord, Thy will be done.
For all the joy thy child shall bring
the risk of grief we'll run.
We will shelter them with tenderness,
we'll love them while we may.
And for the happiness we have known
forever grateful stay.
But should thy Angel call for them
much sooner then we've planned,
we'll brave the bitter grief that comes
and try to understand...

Loving You Always Cayden!

An American Flag Dedicated in Your Memory

We were presented with an American Flag that was dedicated to you!

The flag was flown on a combat mission in the U.S. Army UH-60L Blackhawk Helicopter 90-26297 in the face of the enemy and bears witness to the capture, detention, and interrogation of terrorist forces threatening the freedom of the United States of America and the world. The flag was flown in Afghanistan in support of "Operation Enduring Freedom" for the men and women who lost their lives during the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. The flag was flown during a mission on April 10, 2007.

We were presented with the actual flag, along with a beautiful plaque including a message and picture of the flag being flown in the helicopter on the mission.

This powerful tribute that was dedicated in your memory, means so much to us. We want to send a special Thank You to Travis Buehner- Pilot In Command, Peter Birochak- CO-Pilot, David Hickman- Crew Chief, and Craig Munyan- Door Gunner. God Bless You All

Missing Cayden

We Thought Of You Today,
But That Is Nothing New
We Thought Of You Yesterday,
And Will Tomorrow, too.

We Think Of You In Silence,
And Make No Outward Show
For What It Meant To Lose You,
Only Those Who Love You Know.

Remembering You Is Easy,
We Do It Everyday
It's The Heartache Of Losing You,
That Will Never Go Away.

Lifeline of Ohio

On the night of the accident we were approached by Lifeline of Ohio.  Lifeline is an organization where people may donate their organs to others who are in desperate need of them.  The decision to donate your organs was a very difficult one to make.  It took everything your dad had inside of him to agree to donate your organs, but he knew you would have been proud to know you were able to help someone else.

We heard from Lifeline today, and they told us that you were able to save two lives.  The news was very bitter-sweet for us.  You were able to give "the gift of life" to two seperate people and that is a beautiful thing.  Two people are able to stay here on Earth, with their families, a little bit longer because of you and that is so precious.  We are so proud of you kiddo.  We love you so much.  You will forever be in our hearts.
